My name is Jean Parette, and I am the owner and operator of Jean's Cookie Jar — a home-based, Cottage Food Law bakery in the Omaha metro area. I have been baking and decorating custom sugar cookies for over 15 years, and have since turned my hobby into a business to help people celebrate the most memorable times of their lives.
At first, I only made cookies for family birthdays and holidays. Now that both my boys are in college, I wanted to find an avenue where I could continue to share my love for the cookie, since apparently you can only send so many cookie care packages to the dorms.
Jean's Cookie Jar opened in March 2019. My cookies are made-to-order and fresh-baked daily with only the finest, natural ingredients. Tell me your vision for the design and I will use the cookie as my canvas.
